Christopher Larkin

Christopher Larkin, the founder of The Suites, is no stranger to the Barbering industry. Starting at the age of 14, he realized the possibility to have a barbering career and started studying his craft. By the time he was 22, he owned his first salon, Chris Styles, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. This first salon was just what he needed to prepare him for his future as a major business owner in the industry.. After 4 years in business, he sold his salon and moved to Los Angeles where he continued to learn and elevate in his career. 

After building a loyal clientele and brand, he opened Christopher Styles Barber Spa in September 2012. After years of hard work, dedication and perseverance, the Barber Spa began to outgrow the 1000 sq ft. space and Chris felt he would need to expand but stay in the same community. He thought the industry was in need of something new and innovative. He wanted to create something different and unique. So, he decided it was time to expand. Chris envisioned a professional creative community, where highly skilled beauty professionals from all corners of the industry could run their own small businesses and prioritize the health and safety of the community. 

The Suites by Christopher Styles is the manifestation of a five year plan and once the opportunity met his preparation, he was able to take what he had already built and expand in the same location. The Suites is redefining the traditional salon suite concept by making room for the traditional barber shop atmosphere, and putting community, creativity, collaboration, and culture at the forefront.
